The trudge up to the crag was well worth it with half a dozen of us knocking off the classics including (Photo – Brian Lewis’s 1st ascent of Dental Slab HS*** ) (Photo – Shirley giving welly) and Castrol VS***
Crookrise Meet Report
Well, after a very dodgy looking afternoon 9 of us braved the long walk up to Crookrise and it was well worth it!
We even ended up climbing in the sunshine which was very unexpected.
The classics were done by pretty much all of us and I personally enjoyed (not sure that’s the right word!) a typical gritstone chimney which is supposed to be a VDiff but I beg to differ!
Always happy to have made a trip up to this crag 🙂

Oxenber Meet Report
What a fantastic evening!
13 of us had an awesome night up at Oxenber. A nice breeze kept the midges away and the rain held off too.
Loved seeing a friend of Keiths waist belaying all night whilst using two slings and a screwgate as a harness – retro!! 🙂
Lots of ascents of the Oxenber classics and we’re all in agreement that a bit of gardening is needed on most of the routes
Happy days!

Earl Crag Meet Report
Now the random snow showers have stopped, a great night was had at Earl Crag last night.
8 of us enjoyed a sunny evening and we were lucky to be sheltered from the wind!
Highlights included Rat Juggling (E1) that we set up a top rope on and the lovely Prow Buttress (MS)
Happy days 🙂
