Well, after a very dodgy looking afternoon 9 of us braved the long walk up to Crookrise and it was well worth it!
We even ended up climbing in the sunshine which was very unexpected.
The classics were done by pretty much all of us and I personally enjoyed (not sure that’s the right word!) a typical gritstone chimney which is supposed to be a VDiff but I beg to differ!
Always happy to have made a trip up to this crag 🙂

As a new arrival to these parts and even newer to the CMC, I’m always amazed at the venues. My climbing has seen, well, better days but with such scenery what the hell. Turned out nice again!
