Almscliffe Crag

Almscliffe Crag (Rescheduled)
This crown of Yorkshire gritstone juts above the fields of the Wharf valley. Its elevated position and no drainage means that it is quick-drying and with its elevated position, you are afforded stunning views. There is a good range of grades from V Diff upwards but be aware that even though it's gritstone, many of the favourite routes have developed a polish.
