Buckden Pike via Buckden Lead mines, returning via Cray, Yockenthwaite and Hubberholme.
Mixture of fell and dales predominantly on good paths.
Approx 10 miles and about 500 meters of ascent.

Birkness is another of the huts owned by the Fell and Rock Club in the quiet village of Buttermere close the shore of the lake. It’s in a great location for all our activities.
