6 of us braved the humidity and well dodgy path along the crag to climb the routes up at Gigg.
We found a section of dry rock and went for it! Cracking night with great company as always 🙂
Finished off in the Talbot – which has become our pub of choice this year, with a very well deserved pint!

If anyone would be willing to lead a walk in the next few months could you let me know. We have a walk on 10th September in the Lakes lead by Chris Heald then nothing after that so plenty of dates available

Despite ominous clouds and the occasional light drizzle, Keith and I knocked off two classic HSs ‘Crossover’ and ‘Kestrel Crack’ before heading down to The Listers for for a great pint of Main Line. Unfortunately there was no one else available to take a photo of the daring duo.
The trudge up to the crag was well worth it with half a dozen of us knocking off the classics including (Photo – Brian Lewis’s 1st ascent of Dental Slab HS*** ) (Photo – Shirley giving welly) and Castrol VS***

I’ve just added all the weekday climbing meets for this year going right up to when the clocks change.
This program is by no means set in stone and I welcome your opinions. If there is anything you want to change or think will be a better plan then please do leave a message below, I won’t take offence!
