Date: Sunday 6th July 2025 Meet at 9.45am for a 10.00am Start.
Location: There are several on-road and on-roadside/verge layby's on the B6259, between Aisgill Farm & Aisgill Moor Cottages. The B6259 runs between Garsdale Head and Kirkby Stephen.
Postcode: Aisgill Moor cottages is CA17 4JY - Largest layby is about 1k south of Aisgill Farm & north of Aisgill Moor Cottages.

Route: About 15km (9 miles) & 652m (2,106ft) of ascent.
Circular Walk of about 6/7 hours in the Mallerstang valley, remote, mountainous feel and wonderful scenery. Visiting Lady Anne's Highway, the Water Cut sculpture and then under the Settle/Carlisle railway to ascend to the summit of Wild Board Fell and on to Swarth Fell before descending back to the start point near Hells Gill.
Note: Please take a packed lunch, appropriate footwear and waterproofs for the weather forecast.
Facilities: There are no shops or toilets at the start point. Nearest in Hawes.
