The proposed route is to head along Kinder Road towards the south west corner of Kinder Reservoir. Then, we will head northwards to reach the William Clough path. This path involves a steady uphill climb which criss-crosses the stream until you reach the paved Pennine Way. Here, we turn right and follow the paved pathway to reach Kinder Downfall. From here, we begin to head southwards continuing on the Pennine Way eventually passing the Kinder Low trig point and Edale Rocks. We then begin to veer in a westerly direction passing the ancient Edale Cross and onto Oaken Clough. When we reach Coldwell Clough, we then follow a footpath north back to Bowden Bridge.
