Following an unexpectedly sunny Saturday afternoon on Scout Crags, we prepared for another dry day for Raven Crag. Disappointingly, it was a damp morning in Langdale with low cloud shrouding most of the tops. Without a breeze, the dampness hung on until mid-morning so we decided it was time for planB. Heading for the first venue in the Dales, we stopped at Twistleton where Erica, Chris, Paul and I spent the afternoon on dry rock. Ascents included Fretsaw (HVD*), Angel Delight (HS), Cold Feet(VD), Supreme White (S*), Evening Star(S***) and Priority Corner (S*). Hope that we’ll have a more successful trip to Raven Crag later in the year!
