Almscliffe Crag
This crown of Yorkshire gritstone juts above the fields of the Wharf valley. Its elevated position and no drainage means that it is quick-drying and with its elevated position, you are afforded stunning views. There is a good range of grades from V Diff upwards. Excellent bouldering also.

Approach: Park by the roadside and take the stile to the crag.
