Returning again to a club favourite near Keswick, the Smithy hut sleeps 9 in one dormitory. It has a spacious kitchen and dining area with log fire and is centrally located for mountain activities.
A number of us meet up at 6.45 PM to car share by the village green outside the Maypole Inn in Long Preston BD23 4PH. We return to a pub somewhere afterwards depending on who is heading off home to where.
If you intend to go, contact Andy Barton 07900 933 339

The traditional First & Last of the weekday outdoor season, Eastby Crag is a great little cliff, slabby and tall, in a sunny position and with the added attraction of only being a few minutes from the road. There are only a few routes here but the star count is high with a number of classics at amenable grades.
Due to the short evening, we will be meeting around 3.30, adjourning to The Elm Tree at 6.00 where some of us may choose to eat. If you’re not climbing, feel free to join us there. (http://elmtreeinn-embsay.simplesite.com)
