Overview - Walking Meet:
The proposed route is a clockwise route from Burnsall up and on to Appletreewick Pasture and then following Skyreholme beck through Troller's Gill, returning by either Appletreewick village and the riverside path back to Burnsall or a longer section of riverside path via Howgill.

YDNP Pay & Display Car Park in Burnsall Village - BD23 6BS or GR SE 030 611.
Route:
The provisional route is to follow the River Wharfe to the hamlet of Woodhouse where we then cross the Burnsall/Appletreewick road and head off up Kail Lane (Track). Crossing New Road we'll drop down past Hell Hole and on to Gill Heads and Skyreholme Beck. passing through Trollers Gill we'll pass Parceval Hall. On joining the Appletreewick road we'll have the option of following it into Appletreewick village before joining the riverside path back to Burnsall. Alternatively we'll either cross Blands Beck at Skyreholme and join the Dales Way riverside path after Howgill or take the footpath past Howarth Farm & Dub Laithe to the same point.
The route will be a circular route estimated at about 12k (8 miles) depending on route selected on the day
Refreshments afterwards in The Red Lion Pub adjacent to Burnsall Bridge.
