Meet Location: Meet in the public car park at Clowbridge Reservoir off the A682 Manchester Road. Grid Ref - SD 828 281. Near to Rossendale Valley Sailing Club.
Sat Nav: Google search gives post code of - BB11 5PF. Manchester Road, Clow Bridge, Burnley.

Route: About 13.5k (8.3 miles) & 357m (1,171ft) of ascent.
Note: Please take appropriate footwear and waterproofs for the weather forecast along with a packed lunch.
Facilities: There are no public toilets or facilities at the start point.

Start point is on the public car park at Clowbridge Reservoir managed by United Utilities, alternatively there may be some roadside parking on the A682 Manchester Road.
The route will be an anti-clockwise route around Clowbridge reservoir through Dunnockshaw Community Woodland to join the Burnley Way at Crown Point Road. The route then follows the Burnley Way around the foot of Nutshaw Hill before climbing to the trig point near the Radar Station on Hameldon Hill. Returning to the Burnley Way we'll head on to Hameldon Common to visit the trig point of Great Hameldon and then descending to the start point via New Laithe Heights & Dunnockshaw.
