Bolted Limestone Crag The popular Giggleswick South crags offer a wide variety of climbing with plenty of worthwhile sport routes on the Lower Crag with grades ranging from 4 to 7b and they provide vertical wall climbing that is often technical but never too strenuous. As a way of marking the club's 40th anniversary, Steve Wilson and John Brayshaw will be attempting to climb 40 routes in a day at Stanage. Given that all the routes will be led and seconded (soloing is not allowed), and recognising John's sedate climbing style (i.e. slow, very slow or stationary), then an early start will be essential.
