I’ll not be there again tonight, sorry guys. It looks like you’ll be sharing it with the LMC tonight though.

I can be there from 4pm onwards if anyone’s keen? Although I don’t have an up to date guide book and would you believe despite it being one of my nearest crags I have never climbed there! I will bring a boulder Matt too and Boulder map. Are the climbs up near the bouldering?

The most popular and I assume the best bouldering is up near the wood away from the dam. Climbing there is on Purgatory Buttress and includes a very bold VS, Purgatory Chimney (Um!) and two classic E8/E9’s! I will climbing be on Mystery Buttress which is nearer the dam (nearest parking). I won’t get there much before 5.15pm. There are some boulders near the dam but not sure what they are like they don’t seem particularly popular.
The ‘ordinary route’ is not to be missed!
I hope to be there for 5.15pm.
Looking forward 🙂 See you there
