Walking Meet – Grassington (13K approx)

The meet will start at the main Yorkshire Dales National Park car park off the B6268 – GR SD 002 637.

The walk will be about 13.5k (8.4 miles) taking in about 288m (945ft) of ascent. It is a clockwise circular route through the village of Grassington and up to Bare House and then south easterly to Yarnbury. Passing through the remains of the lead mines we’ll drop down to join Hebden Beck through Hebden village to join the Dales Way riverside path adjacent to the river Wharfe which we’ll follow to Linton Falls and the Snake Path back to the start point.
