4) 22-24 April 2022 – Newlands Hut. This is a fairly basic hut in the Lakedistrict belonging to Carlisle M.C. It is accessible by car via private road but feels wonderfully remote at NY 229177. (Max Spaces about 10) Bookings open 13 Feb 2022.

This is a reminder about the Newlands Hut Meet 22 to 24 April.
Whilst it is a fairly basic hut it is a superb quiet location far up the Newlands Valley. At night there is only one light visible and complete peace and quiet. There are some superb circular ridge walks from the door and the crags of Borrowdale are only a few miles drive away.
A bargain at £12per person per night. Bookings to me as soon as you can.
