The walking route will be an anti- clockwise route of about 15k (9.6 miles) taking in about 383m (1,256ft) of ascent but may change on the day should weather conditions dictate.
The proposed route is to take the Thwaite Lane bridleway from the church leading east towards Austwick and on to Wharfe village. Heading north on the intake lane passing Studrigg and Hunterstye to Austwick Beck Head and ascending Capple Bank to the limestone pavement of Moughton Scar. Heading north west passing Beggars Stile and Thieves Moss to Sulber Gate and turning south to join the Pennine Bridleway over Long Scar to pick up Long Lane and the descent back to Clapham.
