Circular Walk on the Shap Fells

16th April 2016

  • « Mid Week Walk – Embsay Moor and Rylstone Fell Circuit.
  • Ilkley Quarry – Climbing »

This Circular Walk over the unfrequented Shap Fells will start and end at the Wet Sleddale Reservoir Car Park. I hope to get as far as Tarn Cragg and the head of Mosedale

Maximum length is about 19 fairly easy kilometres (12 miles) with little more than 600m (2000ft.) of ascent.

Please ring or email me if you are intending going. (0797-485-3146)

There are at least 6 of us planning to go. Most of us are meeting at Long Preston to share transport and leave by 8.45am with a view to starting walking from wet Sleddale Reservoir by 10.15am.

Why not join us. Let me know if you can.

Dick

    Hi All.
It is now looking like there will be at least four of us. Ring/text/email me if you are interested in coming along and increasing the numbers.
We are aiming to meet at the Wet Sleddale Reservoir Car Park by 10.15am and it is looking like it will be possible to share transport.
