Brimham Rocks (Fag Slab Area)

A second visit this season, Brimham Rocks lie approximately one mile South of the Pateley Bridge to Ripon road (B 6265).
The slumped pieces of rock of Fag Slab Area offers several worthwhile climbs with a range of grades and includes the classic ***VS Alan’s Crack.
Approach: This is the most northerly of the venues at Brimham. The shortest approach is by the path that runs past the cafe, the Dancing Bear and the Druid’s Idol. Fag Slab is on the left 50m beyond this and is difficult to spot from above
Adjourn to The Royal Oak at Dacre Bank.
