An exceptional spell of weather greeted the eleven lucky participants of our recent Easter trip to Arran. With such a plethora of activities available we were hard pressed what to choose. Climbing, walking, cycling, horse riding, was tested and enjoyed, with of course the obligatory Arran ice cream tasting session and Easter egg hunt adding to the fun.
When asked to write a post I couldn’t pick on one thing. The whole experience was great, from a stunning northern cycle loop to climbing the remote western fells of Beinn Bharrain and Mullach Buidhe it was all an adventure with great friends and food complimenting the whole meet.
A few of us were lucky enough to venture further afield after the meet and my last day on a superb Corbett behind Ballachuish called Fraochaidh sealed the trip with an A1 star.
Thanks to all for a great meet.
