A great time was had at Almscliff last night with at least 8 climbers from the club present. Weather was perfect with the customary strong wind.
Andy and Roger ‘warmed up’ with an ascent of Great Western (HVS) before moving on to Black Wall Eliminate (E2). I wasn’t able to witness this ascent from where I was climbing on Low Man. However Roger was providing a clearly audible running commentary on the delights of Yorkshire crack climbing. I will spare you the details. Meanwhile the rest of us were content with the easier fare on Low Man.
We adjourned early for a well earned pint.
