A Dales Walk - Fountains Fell, Pen-y-ghent Gill, Litton, Arncliffe and Monks Road to Malham Tarn

Elizabeth is one of our members who lives and works in the dales so we are expecting some local gems on this walk.

A circular walk mainly on paths, encompassing a variety of bleak moorland fell, dramatic valley, peaceful dale and quite a bit of limestone. About 17 miles (27km) but only 1740ft (530m) of ascent. Starting from Quarry (dis) at SD883672 at 9.15am. Suggest meeting at Gargrave at 8.30am to share lifts. Let Elizabeth know if you’d like to come.
