Borrowdale II. Grey Crag, Tarn Crag, Harrop Pike and Yarlesides

A Circuit of Upper Borrowdale (the quiet one) from the car park at Grid Ref 554 062 on the A6 north of High Borrow Bridge.

A walk of about 22 km (13 miles) and approx 750 m (2500 ft) of ascent mainly off paths.

We aim to start the walk by 10 am so if you want to share transport, please meet at Long Preston by 8.15 a.m

Great care will be required if we are to see the deer and avoid the herds of wild horses.
