weatheram

Thankyou to barry for a great day out on sunday at weatherlam in the lakes , there were 6 of us altogether , including 3 new prospective members , the first part of the day was spent in cloud and mist , but by about 1pm this burnt off and we were rewarded with great views , one of our group mentioned if there was social meetings in the evening ? narrow boat skipton ? I live in Colne and if people would like to do some short evening walks , maybe a drink then id be happy to try and arrange something with them

walking on sunday 24

great day was had at ingleton on sunday ; we went from ingleton to ingleborough hill in great sunshine weather ; then down to the ribble head viaduct ; on to whernside and then to beezer falls at ingleton ; this was a classic walk in great conditions ; and i enjoyed the walk as well as the leader that day mr john cooper ;

what slightly concerns me is that no other club members came along or inquired about this walk

anyway a memorable outing in limestone country
